I hate that I’m even posting this…

But after one too many kids using our lounges as a trampoline park, we’ve decided to remove them from upstairs.

Not because we wanted to.

Not because they weren’t working.

But because unfortunately they weren’t being treated with the care they deserved.

We’re a retail store, not a play centre, and while we absolutely love seeing families visit, we do need everyone to help us look after the space.

And it’s not just the lounges...

It’s the food, the dirty hands, the jumping, the running and the general lack of supervision.

We totally get that kids are kids. We have our own 😬

But we’re also a small business with loads of breakable stock, expensive furniture and a space we’ve worked INCREDIBLY hard to create.

We’re not expecting perfection. Just a little awareness and respect for the environment, and for the people sharing it.

We’ve designed this space very strategically - for people to come and enjoy - but to have to remove things because they aren’t respected wasn’t something I thought I’d have to do. It’s also made me re-think introducing other displays and products.

Business is hard enough - we shouldn’t have to worry about people not respecting our space on top of everything else.

There are so many people that this doesn’t apply to. We notice you - and appreciate you ❤️
