Hi Everyone!

I am hoping you all can help me with some market research for women with larger busts (F cup and above) and also tall women. Maybe that's you or its your friend, sister, girlfriend, work colleague or wife. If you know someone please either tag them in my post or send it to them as I would love all the feedback I can get.

I have some ideas of items I would like to create for both of these markets but I would also love to hear from you about what you think is difficult to buy/fit. I can't create everything at once (unless I won the lotto 🤣) so I was hoping to see what the most popular items would be.

For example for the larger busted women...crop tops that actually contain your bust, button up shirts and dresses that don't pull or gape. Please share items that you find hard to buy and would love to own. I do have a bunch of items in mind but this is just an example as I want to hear from you.

For the tall women is it mostly just pants that are actually long enough and don't sit above your ankle that you are looking for or would you want long skirts and slightly longer shorts too or are those last two easy enough to find? Also would you mind telling me the length you are after (e.g. 36 inches)?

Today's last minute job was some hemming for a Groom who had forgotten to organise getting his pants hemmed for this Saturday. The great thing about having a small business is that I can usually find time to squeeze in last minute hems or repairs to a garment between my other sewing jobs.
So get in touch if you think it may be too late to get your hems done before an event, some bigger alteration businesses may say no but I can try to fit you in just make sure you tell me how urgent it is.

Just created love for a beautiful little 7 year old girl with this cute little dress with a matching bucket hat. Her mum told me she loved it when she tried it on.
I love how the ric rac braid makes it pop!
This style of dress is great as they can wear it all seasons. Just throw on leggings and a skivvy in winter.
Now she wants her mummy in a matching dress.

Check out these cuties! ! 🧑‍🤝‍🧑
These matching shorts are the same style as previous drop crotch pants I've made but the request was for the same but in shorts.
Luke's friend needs 100% cotton due to severe eczema so these are 100% cotton organic jersey. His parents find it hard to find cute pants with patterns on them in the right material so I thought this monkey material would be so fun!
They certainly survived the 5 year old active boys test with a monster day out at Reboundland, some fun by the river and trampolining to their hearts content.
Custom made to each of the boys sizes and height.

Microwave Cozy Bowls!
How cool are these! I was recently doing a sewing class at Kimz Sewing & Patchwork Centre to upskill and I was heating up my lunch when one of the staff asked if I wanted to use one so I don't burn my hands and I'm like...how have I not seen these before, I need these in my life! So I decided to make some for me.
These are especially great for kids if you don't want them struggling with a tea towel. You can put them in the microwave with the bowl and they are 100% cotton so they don't go up in 🔥🔥🔥 and the kids or adults can just pop their hands around the cozy and carry their hot food, especially awesome if you are sitting on the couch to eat and not at the table. I also love Acai Bowls which always freeze my hands when sitting on the couch, so it's great for cold bowls too. This particular one fits both a medium and larger bowl.
It's also reversible and you just throw them in the wash if they get dirty. They could even be custom colour coordinated to match your homes colour theme or a special favourite superhero fabric for the kiddies.

Just Created Love for my son this time. He had requested some new Spiderman shorts to wear with the Spiderman shirts he already owns. Then he saw the cushion I made recently so he wanted one of those too and there was enough fabric for both, his wish is my command! 💙 He even agreed to pose for some photos without the usual bribe of chocolate 🍫🤣
He has been carrying the cushion around the house since I made it which is pretty darn cute 😍
This would make a cute unique gift for a kids special occasion and can be custom made in any fabric you like 🎁🎉

Popped into my local sewing shop, Kimz Sewing & Patchwork Centre, today to pick up my new machine. Thanks to the wonderful Christine for all her advice and demo's helping figure out which model is best for my sewing business needs. You don't get that kind of service in the big chain stores! It's nice being able to support local small businesses too 💜
Couldn't quite fit us and the sewing machine in the pic 🤣 but this one is wonderful with so many stitch types, different feet and needle positioning so will give me so many more options and won't growl at me when I'm trying to sew over denim. 🤣🪡🧵

Upskilling! I think no matter what line of work you are in it's always important to be learning new skills and techniques. Plus it keeps the brain 🧠 active.
I haven't really been out and about much recently and it was nice to spend a few hours at the local sewing 🪡🧵 shop with other people keen to learn and I met some really kind and funny women. Plus it's nice to be able to support their small business too.
Now my cushion covers will be a little more fancy! 🎉 Was only doing clothing prior to this so it's nice to have something new to offer too. If you would like some custom made cushion covers to match your home just shoot me a message to discuss.
My son has now requested a Spiderman or Ironman cushion for him! Yes sir! 🤣❤
