BASIC SEWING COURSES commencing SATURDAY 3rd May 10am to 2pm OR FRIDAYS 9th May 5pm to 9pm at 8 Ventura Street Sunrise Beach. The course runs for 8 weeks one class per week.
Learn how to operate a sewing machine, different seams and finishing's, construct a lined tote bag, elastic applications, Hems, Bias Binding, facings, understanding how to use a pattern, Centred zip, Invisible zip, buttonholes and much more. Students bring their own machine or there are sewing machines available (no cost). All fabrics, zips, threads, scissors etc for use in class included in price.

* THURSDAYS commencing 16th JANUARY 10am - 2pm
* SATURDAYS commencing 18th JANUARY 10am - 2pm
* TUESDAY EVENINGS commencing 21ST JANUARY 4.30 - 8.30

Georgie had a magical work experience in the Costume Department at Queensland Ballet with the performance of Coco Chanel: the Life of a Fashion Icon. Even got to sew the exquisite buttons onto the Coco Chanel ballet costumes and watch the dress rehearsal. With the attendance of Georgie doing the Cert 111 in Apparel, Fashion & Textiles at Tafe and then a Costume Design course in Melbourne she is certainly on her way to her dream profession.
