🐄 AGRI-VIS WEEKLY UPDATE | Out & About in Gympie 🌾

It’s been another busy week getting Agri-Vis out into the agricultural industry!

This week I’ve been around the Gympie region, dropping off samples, introducing the Agri-Vis concept and talking with local businesses about our livestock-conscious high-vis workwear.

Stops included Nolan Meats, M1 Workwear, Tom Grady CRT Rural Store ,Hayse & co and Norco Gympie.

The aim is simple — get Agri-Vis into the hands of people who work in agriculture, start conversations and build awareness around a different approach to visibility and livestock-conscious workwear.

It’s exciting watching something that started as an idea on our dairy farm slowly getting out into the wider agricultural community.

One sample, one conversation and one rural business at a time.

The first test of commitment to the Queensland Dairy Plan
Media Release 17 August 2026
Many Queenslanders have now heard the story of Jason & Lisa Rozynski and the very real threat facing their family dairy farm.
eastAUSmilk has deliberately not rushed into the public conversation. Our priority has been working urgently behind the scenes speaking to processors, government and industry stakeholders and doing everything possible to find a way forward for Jason and his family.
This is an established Queensland dairy farming family that wants passionately to keep farming. Their farm produces approximately 3.3 million litres of high-quality Queensland milk. This isn’t milk Queensland needs to produce sometime in the future. It is Queensland milk we already have, and we are at risk of losing it.
While eastAUSmilk exists to fight for dairy farmers and to help build a strong, sustainable future for our dairy industry, this responsibility cannot sit with us alone.
The Queensland Government, processors and key industry bodies have recently committed to a Queensland Dairy Plan to rebuild, strengthen and grow our local dairy industry.
This is the first real test of that commitment.
The Plan is about working together to protect and grow Queensland dairy production and right now, that means doing everything we can to keep the farmers and milk production we already have.
That commitment has to mean something.
TO THE QUEENSLAND PUBLIC:
Please be a voice for the Queensland dairy farmers and please keep supporting Queensland produced and processed milk. Queenslanders have a powerful voice in the future of our dairy industry, and we are asking for your help to:
1. Call on ALL Queensland Dairy Processors to Step Forward Now
Work with us to find a solution that keep these cows milking, keeps this family farming and keep 3.3 million litres of high-quality fresh milk in Queensland.
2. Always Choose Queensland Fresh Milk
Choose fresh Queensland-produced and processed milk. Ask for Queensland milk & encourage your family, friends, local businesses and supermarkets to do the same.
3. Use your voice
Share Jason & Lisa’s story. Talk about it. Ask questions. Help us send a clear message to processors, retailers and government which is:

🏆 A PROUD MOMENT FOR AGRI-VIS & RIVER RIDGE DAIRIES 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to share that River Ridge Dairies has won the 2026 Agricultural & Rural Innovation Award at the Above & Beyond Awards.

This award is particularly special for Agri-Vis, as Agri-Vis was born directly from our experiences working with livestock at River Ridge Dairies. What started as an idea on-farm has developed into a new approach to high-visibility workwear designed specifically with livestock behaviour in mind.

Winning an award for agricultural innovation gives us even more encouragement to keep questioning the way things have always been done and looking for practical solutions that can improve farm safety, livestock handling and everyday life in agriculture.

A huge thank you to Marty Hunt MP, the Above & Beyond Awards organisers, supporters and judges.

For Agri-Vis, this is another step forward in getting the conversation started around livestock-conscious high-vis workwear.

Queensland dairy is in the spotlight — and the bell is about to ring.

In the red corner: Lactalis.
In the blue corner: Bega.
And in the green corner: Norco.

And in the middle of it all… the Rozynski family milk supply — ready for a new home.

This isn’t a fight. It’s a test of who’s ready to step up.

Something doesn’t add up.

Queensland is hundreds of millions of litres short of the milk it consumes each year, with product trucked in from interstate to fill the gap.

Yet the Rozynsky family — an 80-year Queensland dairy farming family producing around 3.3 million litres annually — is struggling to secure a processor for their milk.

This isn’t simply a supply issue. It highlights a deeper problem in processing capacity, supply chains, and the future of Queensland dairy.

If Queensland wants a resilient agricultural sector, it needs more than production capacity. It needs the infrastructure and supply chains to move Queensland produce to Queensland consumers.

Losing productive dairy farms while importing milk from interstate is not a long-term solution.

Queensland farmers can produce it. Queenslanders consume it. We need the pathway between the two.

Innovation starts on the farm.

Seeing River Ridge Dairy recognised as a finalist in the Innovation in Agriculture category is something I’m incredibly proud of.

The same passion for improving the way we farm safely and sustainably is what inspired Agri-Vis. Every idea starts with a challenge on the farm, and every solution is driven by making agriculture safer, more practical and better for the people and livestock who rely on it.

This finalist recognition isn’t the finish line—it’s motivation to keep pushing forward.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported both River Ridge Dairy and Agri-Vis along the journey. The best is still to come.
