VIVIDSHOP IS CLOSING.
Dear FB friends, friends of Vividshop and beloved friends in general!
Well, we gave it a good Aussie go.
Nearly 9 years ago Rajani and I took over Vividshop from Denice, who established the shop in 1999 (that’s 25 years ago!).
I wouldn’t say we had it easy, what with the light rail construction, Covid and now the cost of living crisis all conspiring to cruel our ambitions.
Of course, the greatest loss over this time was Rajani herself, and I vowed that I would try and make the business work as some sort of legacy for her. That was over 6 years ago now too.😔
So Vividshop survived all this, and I am particularly grateful to Alisa for curating a colourful and eclectic collection of fashion, jewellery and lifestyle brands which have allowed the shop to continue its journey over this time. Awesome job👏😎
But all good things must come to an end, and so I am announcing that Vividshop will be closing in a week’s time (next Sunday).
We’ll continue to operate the Vividshop website after the physical shop closes (www.vividshop.com.au), and will be also running a closing down sale from the shop before the doors close……up to 75% off some items and more!
So please keep us in mind for future purchases or drop by to say goodbye if you’re around Surry Hills- be good to catch up!
It’s a little bittersweet but like I said we gave it a ‘red hot go’ and it’s time to move on for more adventures in this crazy world we find ourselves in.
