Well, here we are. The day has arrived.

Today, I turn the big 5-0

It's a milestone that brings with it a lot of emotions. When I look back, I see a life that hasn't always been easy. There have been challenges, disappointments, lessons, and moments that tested me more than I thought possible.
But alongside those moments have been incredible blessings—love, laughter, friendships, family, opportunities, and memories that I wouldn't trade for anything.
The older I get, the more I realise that life isn't about having a perfect journey. It's about growing through the highs and lows, finding strength you didn't know you had, and appreciating the people who walk beside you along the way.
As I step into this next chapter, I feel grateful. Grateful for where I've been, proud of how far I've come, and excited for what still lies ahead.
Fifty feels less about getting older and more about recognising just how much life there has been to celebrate.
Here's to the next chapter.

So the day I have been dreading, is here!
The boss is the big 5-0 today!

It's hard to comprehend that I have reached this age already, as the years are flying by.
It's a strange feeling, lots of different emotions.
I'm feeling a little bit of everything.
Gratitude. Reflection. Pride. Excitement. A touch sadness for the years gone by, but also appreciation for every experience that helped shape who I am today.
Life hasn't always been kind or easy. There have been moments I would never choose to relive. But there have also been moments so beautiful that they made every challenge worthwhile.
I've learned that strength often comes quietly, resilience grows when you least expect it, and some of life's greatest gifts arrive in ways you never planned for.
As I reach this milestone, my heart is full. Full of gratitude for the people I love and have in my life, the lessons I've learned, and the life I've been fortunate enough to live.
Fifty isn't an ending. It's another beginning.

I'm looking forward to a weekend away.
Max, Leanne & Mandy will be on deck at I & A Friday & Saturday. So I can take a little break!
They will take great care of you all. 😍

Today, we are crazy busy getting all new arrivals out instore & online.

The first task each and every day is to pick and pack online orders.
It is such a great way to start the day!
Each and every online order is very appreciated.
Orders are sent all over Australia.
I'm always learning of new towns, suburbs and places that I have never heard of, within this great country of ours.
Beautiful new ladies jackets are off to Kylie this morning and a stunning girls denim dress for Bonnie.

Ohhhh how much I love a slow Sunday!
Without a massive 'to do' list.

It was so lovely to hear the rain on our colourbond (tin) roof during the night.
It's one of my favourite things!

And walking around our garden this morning, with a coffee in hand, in my pj's, admiring all the vibrant colours. Listening to the birds chirping! Very peaceful.
Just enjoying the moment and some 'me' time.
Gorgeous!

Like my business, our garden is something that was started from scratch, literally a paddock. And after years of planning, investment, taking risks, continually evolving and a lot hard work, now able to enjoy the rewards, with views like this.

It's the little things in life, it truly is 😍

The remainder of the day...
● finish the washing
● grocery shop
● finalise 4 x Summer 26 indent orders.
