UPCYCLED 🇦🇷 | 8 horas de trabajo, una nueva historia.
Vivir en Sydney y estar lejos de Argentina hace que crear algo conectado con mi país tenga un significado especial. 🩵🤍
Esta pieza nace de la transformación de una remera existente a través del upcycling, la reconstrucción de la prenda y el bordado artesanal. Reutilicé incluso la manga original para construir la nueva silueta de un solo hombro, aprovechando prácticamente toda la prenda y reduciendo al mínimo el desperdicio.
El escudo de AFA fue recreado y bordado a mano con canutillos, convirtiéndose en el detalle protagonista de una transformación que llevó aproximadamente 8 horas de trabajo. 🪡✨

Living in Sydney, far from Argentina, makes creating something connected to my home country feel even more meaningful. 🩵🤍
This piece was created by transforming an existing shirt through upcycling, garment reconstruction and hand embroidery. Even the original sleeve was repurposed to create the new one-shoulder silhouette, making use of almost the entire garment while keeping waste to a minimum.
The AFA crest was recreated and hand-embroidered with beads, becoming the statement detail of a transformation that took approximately 8 hours of work. 🪡✨
