Rusty Rhino Videos – Episode 9: Tony’s 1993 Honda NSR250 MC28!
We’re back with another episode of Rusty Rhino Videos, our series showcasing Sydney’s vintage motorcycle and car scene.
For Episode 9, we’re featuring Tony and his 1993 Honda NSR250 MC28.
Tony had dreamed of owning an NSR250 MC28 for more than 30 years. Back in the day, he owned a Yamaha TZR250 3MA, but unfortunately, that bike met an untimely end after he crashed it.
Recently, Tony managed to find and purchase another TZR250 3MA, which we’ll be featuring in an upcoming episode.
But the Honda NSR250 MC28 was always the bike he truly wanted.
With the help of a friend, Tony found this NSR250 in China and arranged to have it imported into Australia.
Once it arrived, they carried out a careful restoration, bringing the bike back to the stunning condition you see today.
The Honda NSR250 MC28 is one of the most desirable two-stroke sports bikes ever built. With its iconic styling, legendary handling and thrilling power delivery, it’s easy to see why Tony spent more than three decades searching for the right one.
Tony’s passion for motorcycles extends far beyond this NSR. He has an impressive collection of both classic and modern bikes, and when he’s not enjoying his road bikes, you’ll find him chasing top speeds on the salt flats aboard his Kawasaki Ninja H2.
More videos featuring Sydney’s motorcycle and car community are on the way, including Tony’s Yamaha TZR250 3MA, so stay tuned.
Cheers,
Tommy
