Spotty's transformation began with a rejuvenating soak and scrub, followed by a dose of conditioner to restore his fur's vibrant softness. The remnants of old glue were washed away, revealing a fresh base, while clumped stuffing gave way to new, plush filling. The teddy bear displayed considerable wear and tear, appearing grimy and deflated, and thus required immediate restoration. The stuffing material, comprised of dirt, tiny stones, and putrid fabric, was particularly problematic, demanding extensive soaking and washing. Following meticulous cleaning and replacement with new polyester stuffing, the teddy bear is now ready to offer extended companionship to its owner.

Before:Big Bear was grubby from lots of cuddling. He was in need of a wash but he was so big it was hard to manage him....

Before:

Big Bear was grubby from lots of cuddling. He was in need of a wash but he was so big it was hard to manage him. His feet needed repair first. He started to look better after that was done.

After:

With his paws fixed and a good bath, Bear looks clean again. Fortunately the hot summer weather came to the rescue and dried him out quickly ready to return to his life with his owner. His own special chair at home was waiting patiently for his return.

Before:

Stitch was brand new but his stitching was coming apart at the back of his head. Part of the dark blue cross on the back of his head was also coming off. He is now fully repaired and ready for years of fun to come.

After:

Before:

Adorable little Lamby Pie was a mess. He needed a thorough wash, replacement eyes, new stuffing and a lot of repairs to his body. His owner loved him and she was very keen to preserve him.

After:

Lamby Pie looked much lighter and happier after a good soak and wash. He now has new blue eyes. After a lot of work, his holes are all patched and he is back in one piece. To protect his fragile body, he needed a jacket.

For Lamby Pie’s jacket, I used the mid-section of another soft toy that was unusable. The arms were too short so I extended them with some blue braid. I added some daisies to the neck. Lastly, I secured it at the back with press-studs. He looks ready for a night on the town.
