Happy Valentine’s Day! 💖
On my most recent video someone commented saying they’d love to see my version of Loving You Barbie. Well here it is!
This model is Fashion Jeans Barbie. A doll that what Well-Loved and has now received some much needed Tender Loving Care.
I had bought her as a body donor and the head was destined for the bin. But then I had bought a baby doll for its dress and Ollie thought it was a hair donor for a reroot. Initially I wasn’t keen on the idea of using this hair for a reroot but then came across this head and thought it would be perfect for this shade. And luckily I had bought another doll as a hair donor and therefore had a matching body for her again.
So it all seemed to work out in the end. You might also recognise the dark blue mummy-made dress in the before photo that I had up-cycled into my version of Picture Pretty Barbie (see previous posts).
I was going to do a video on making this outfit but didn’t have time (I am only just getting this up in time). The skirt pattern is the same as the peaches pattern with the addition of a centre panel and heart. The bodice is different and I’ve added the link for that pattern in the description of that same Peaches and Cream video.
Ollie and I did this photo shoot, had a small picnic with Sonny, and then made origami flowers for each other (2nd last photo with gifts). Sonny also made us a Valentine at school earlier in the week (last photo). It has been a lovely Valentine’s Day 💖
