When you check out fashion brands who you’re purchasing from, you might notice a lot of brands state that they are designed in Australia, yet made overseas. When we started Cantik Anak we felt really strongly about making sure our pieces were not only designed in Sydney, but also made in Sydney. This way we are supporting small, local makers and we know that their work space is filled with natural light, with plenty of room and is generally a nice environment to work in. We are lucky enough to be able to visit this space and ensure what we are having made is of high quality too. We also know that when our pieces are made in Australia, the makers are also paid a fair wage. Shop consciously with us 🌿
