Why paint flowers? 🌹

Painting petals allows me to move gently, helping me to notice the tiny shifts in color and shape.

Each brushstroke helps me to heal. It’s my way of soothing the nervous system and softening the edges of the day.

Painting flowers remind me to stay present; one moment, one layer, one breath at a time.

Their curves, their fragility, their openness remind me that softness is strength, not weakness.

Flowers bloom, fade, rest, and return. Painting them helps me to honour each season of life.

Why paint flowers?

Because in learning to observe and paint them, I am learning to treat myself with more love and tenderness.
