I received so many messages if we are releasing new stock or are we closing down?
Unfortunately Miilky Mum will be closing down :(
This was such a tough decision to make because this brand truly felt like my baby. I’ve always been transparent with you all, so why stop now, haha.
I started Miilky Mum because I saw a huge gap in the market for breastfeeding-friendly clothing for hijabis, and to be honest, there still is. Alhamdulillah, things were going so well and the brand was gaining real traction. But as many of you know, we ran into stock and supplier issues, and I had to pause to find a solution.
Then life took a turn. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. Between caring for her and managing business challenges, I realised this extra stress wasn’t worth it because my sister was my priority. After ten long months, my sister Sarah passed away (Allah yerhama). She was the best big sister you could ever ask for. She was actually the one who helped me start Miilky Mum and handled all the technical parts that brought the brand to life.
After some time, I tried to bring Miilky Mum back. I created new samples and even sent some to mums who were desperate. But not long after, I gave birth to a sweet little girl, named Sarah. ❤️ With my two girls and everything else going on, continuing Miilky Mum has started to feel almost impossible right now.
This isn’t goodbye forever, just for now. I truly believe I’ll revisit this project when the time is right, InshaAllah. Website will still be up and running until all stock is gone.
