Creatures of Colo! ๐ชฒ๐ฆ๐
Iโm back in Narrm now reminiscing on my time up north
Honestly the wildlife was a huge highlight
Spending a year in the bush, tracking the seasonal changes, I gained a deeper intimacy with the natural world (and therefore myself and everyone ~ we r one and the same) ๐ experiencing this place blossom from the depths of winter through to springtime and summer - is something that will stay in my heart forever
I noticed when the bearded dragons came out to bask in the sun ๐ฆ I noticed when all the beetles started crawling around ๐ชฒ I noticed when the monarch butterflies fluttered amongst us ๐ฆ and when the orbies wove their webs ๐ท๏ธ๐ธ๏ธ
I noticed when the black swans migrated into the lagoon ๐ฆข and when the symphony of allusive frogs began ๐ธ I noticed when the azure kingfishers came out, stalking their pray along the riverbank to feed their young ๐ชบ
The forms and textures and colours and smells that life comes in never ceases to amaze me!! There is SO MUCH worth loving and protecting and caring for !!! We are all part of this web of life!!! We are not above nor below it ! ๐
Grateful for this time on Dharug land, I miss that place already
