Spring Summer 2026 will be our final collection — for now.

Ten years ago, I left my job as a land surveyor to pursue an idea that felt instinctive, uncertain, and full of possibility. What it has grown into has far exceeded anything I could have imagined.

From early experiments to New Zealand Fashion Week and Australian Fashion Week, to building a global presence — each step has been both surreal and deeply meaningful. To stand alongside some of the most aspirational designers in the world, supported by the most incredible retailers in the world and a loyal community, has truly been the dream.

At its core, Wynn Hamlyn has always been about the act of making — a quiet obsession with craft, the rhythm of the workroom, and the hands of our makers. Pulling things apart and reworking them into something new. Creating collections with intention, experimentation, and honesty has been the greatest privilege.

Over time, the landscape around us has shifted. The model we’ve been working within no longer supports the way we want to create. While our direct-to-consumer business continues to grow strongly year on year, the broader structure around it is no longer serving us in the way it once did.

So rather than forcing something that doesn’t feel right, I’ve made the decision to pause — to honour what we’ve built, and to allow space to step back and reconsider what comes next.

We’ll close this chapter with our Spring Summer 2026 collection — one I’m incredibly proud of.

To everyone who has been part of this journey — who has worn the pieces, supported the collections, and believed in the vision — thank you. You’ve shaped this brand as much as I have.

A grid, undone then reworked. Rouleau loops shape the bodice — pulling, disrupting, reforming. A piece caught mid-process, between making and unmaking. Threads left loose, structure softened, held in tension between control and release.
