You know those days....

the ones that just turn out really lovely without you expecting them to? Where you're a little bit nervous because you're not sure what to expect?

This was one of those days.

We, & by we, I really mean
Sophie & Lucy from .au
spent the day photographing our Duo Glasses Cases in the most beautiful home of Annette, a beautiful woman, whom despite having never met before, made me feel so welcome and has the most lovely prescence about her.

There was lots of laughter, moving things around for “just one more photo”, learning new things behind the scenes & plenty of moments where work genuinely didn’t feel like work.

These are the parts of small business people don’t always see… the connections, the kindness, the fun chaos & the people who help bring your ideas to life (or have better ideas 🙈)

And yes… there are now approximately 700 photos of Duo Glass Cases sitting on chairs, benches & coffee tables 😄, hanging around & waiting for the opportunity to sit on your chair, bench or coffee table 😉 - cheeky? Definitely 😘

monday's snippet of useless trivial information 😅....

in the 12th Century, judges in China were said to wear early “sunglasses” made from flat panes of smoked quartz… not to protect their eyes from the sun, but to hide their facial expressions during court cases.

The idea was to remain completely impartial and keep reactions hidden from defendants and witnesses.

Fast forward a few centuries and sunglasses have gone from courtroom secrecy… to fashion statements, confidence boosters & holiday essentials.

From practical… to stylish… to a little bit iconic.

There’s something quite remarkable about the fact that a simple pair of glasses can say so much without saying a word 😉
