This is me back in 2022 trying to model a tee. Back when I was a young, shy 32 year old. I’m a pretty shy guy.

I’m constantly fighting myself to get out of my shell. I didn’t start sharing my face on the Fair Bump socials until 2years after I launched. I think most artists are like that. We want to share ourselves through our art, so social media can be challenging for us.

Also, Just a few months before this photo, on the 22/2/22, I first began taking pre-orders! As of Sunday just gone, that was 4years ago! Milestones are weird, you can’t help but to reflect.

This time 4years ago I was rocking back and forth in a fetal position, in my little house in Albury, asking myself “what am I doing?” Now, I’m recovering from a big day at the Bondi Markets, getting ready to print some new designs, though still asking myself “what am I doing?” 🤣

I don’t know what the future holds, 4years ago us artists had to worry about sh*tty artists stealing our art, now we have to worry about sh*tty humans stealing our art with their billion dollar, water guzzling, society destroying, Ai machines.

Though did bands stop performing when DJs came along? 🥁🤘

Did chefs stop opening restaurants when easy, microwaveable meals became available at the convenience store? 👩🏼‍🍳🍰

Did kids stop kicking the football and wanting to become the next David Beckham when the new FIFA video game dropped? ⚽️ 🏃

Despite machines now generating content - I’m an artist and I’ll continue to make art. 👨🏼‍🎨🎨

I’ll keep drawing, I’ll keep creating, I’ll keep imagining and I’ll keep sharing with the world. I hope all of you out there do the same, do what you love and don’t give up! You only live once. If you need some hype, send me a msg and I’ll give you a motivational speech!

I just want to say thanks to everyone who has supported my little wacky brand over the last 4years! It’s been a wild journey and your support means so much to me - here’s to the next 40years! 👊🏼

The best part about doing the markets is meeting so many cool people, like Nefeli!

I offered Nefeli some free stickers in late 2024 as she was walking past my tent, and still to this day I don’t think anyone has been more excited at scoring free stickers than Nefeli! 😂 Since then, she has taken my Elephant on quite the journey around the world! From New Zealand, to India and all the way back to her home town of Athens! 👊🏼

I wanna try something diff...

As you know, Fair Bump is a bit more than a clothing brand. It’s a cartoon world i’ve been dreaming up since I was a kid.

Comics have been a big part of how I share this cartoon world, with you, in the real world. Though, to reach you, my comics have to survive the raging torrents of social media algorithms. It’s hard sharing quality over quantity on platforms that reward quantity over quality.

I don’t use prompts to generate cheap artificial content for quick clicks. I’m an artist. I use my imagination and my hands, to harness skills that i’ve been perfecting since the mid-1990s, to create art - art that can take days, weeks, months or sometimes years to fully conceptualise.

Instead of praying my comics appear in your feed, I want to send it directly to you. From my head, through my hands to your hands and into your head. I want you to experience my comics how they’re meant to be experienced. I want you to hold them, touch them and be able to look at them whenever you want.

So - I’m starting a comic club! Through out 2026, i’m going to post out 6 comic packs, a pack every 2 months. The comic pack will contain a newly printed comic, as well as a bunch of bonus bits and pieces. Kid friendly content as well.

I’ve finished the next comic. Got plenty on the way, and i’m aiming to send out the first pack next week. You can join via the website.
