A super easy activity for your nature loving kids (and parents). All you need to do is punch a few holes in a piece of cardboard and walk around the block.

We did this one today when we needed to chill after a busy morning. It gets kids slowing down, searching and asking questions.

Which flowers are out right now? Which ones have a stem long enough to thread through? We noticed the frangipanis are almost finished for the season, which led to a whole conversation about which flowers come next.

It’s also great for fine motor skills because threading a stem through a small hole takes a bit of patience and problem solving.

To make it: draw a pot shape on cardboard, punch some holes through the top, and head outside. Let them pick whatever catches their eye.

Would also make a cute card or gift 🎁 One of those rare activities that’s actually as easy as it sounds.
