How do you do your gift giving? Do you go rogue, follow the 3 or 4 gift rule, or skip Santa all together?

How unique is punch needle!? 🧶

It's such a gorgeous and textural embroidery technique, and look at how it just pops out of the fabric! 😍

To make your beautiful wall decor, I thread some yarn through my punch needle tool and then "punch" it through the fabric which creates those wonderful loops! As I go, the loops become tight and compact which holds them all in place.

Did you know: I have to flip each of my designs back-to-front so the loopy side is the right way round? 🫤😂

The final designs in my Christmas Collection are these gorgeous character favourites!

Santa with his rosy cheeks and bushy beard, Rudolph rugged up in his winter scarf, and Mrs. Claus just being a boss! I mean, we all know Christmas behind the scenes would probably fall apart without her, she has her fabulous glasses on and there is DEFINITELY a glass of wine in her hand! Red, of course. 🤶🍷

Just your resident bird nerd, checking in! 🦩

You know I love yarn, but I also love birds! You might've seen my other son in my stories, Hazman, a 13 year old Eclectus Parrot I raised from a chick, or maybe one of these beautiful Palm Cockatoos who I get to look after at work 😍 Birds even inspired my business name!

I've been zookeeping for 14 years and I LOVE my job. The icing on the cake is getting to be a part of TWO conservation projects with critically endangered species. And today is National Threatened Species Day! Held on the anniversary of the last known Thylacine's (or Tassie Tiger) death, it is held to raise awareness of all of the amazing Australian animals and plants at risk of extinction.

So, of course I'm going to merge my two passions into one! Will most of my collections be inspired by animals and nature? Abso-bloody-lutely!! Because who doesn't love cute and quirky animals decorating their little one's spaces, inspiring curiosity and a love of nature!?
