Hi everyone, TESS JEAN has been pretty quiet lately as I have been working on a new direction for the brand.
For those who don’t know, I am the sole operator of TESS JEAN. On top of liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and sourcing materials, I am also the designer, pattern maker, fit model, sewer, content creator and marketer.
When I launched my brand, I wanted to do so on an international level. Create a brand that sat amongst other high-end established labels. However, gaining international recognition whilst based in Vietnam, combined with managing everything on my own was just not viable.
Going forward I am now focusing on a slow-fashion approach. This means TESS JEAN will now be made-to-order with only a small number of garments produced from the outset and ready to ship. All designed and sewn by myself from my small studio in Ho Chi Minh City.
I’m so excited with this new approach and aim to create a strong foundation on which I can build and grow at a sustainable pace. No over-production, just sewing to demand. My first collection is still available for sale online and I ship worldwide. Stay tuned for made-to-order designs coming soon.
