The Millisa Waratah Wool Cardigan is a wearable piece of art proudly crafted in pure Australian Merino Wool.

Each Winter season, we plan to design and craft a unique knitwear style featuring an Australian Native Flower in limited edition. This season we proudly showcase the NSW state emblem, the Waratah, which has become a signature motif for us due to our location at 67 Waratah Street, Haberfield.

This collectors piece is a generous, easy fit longline cardigan, fitting sizes 8-20. It is designed to be worn loose, the cardigan drapes to the body, forming interesting shapes and is anchored by neat fitting longline ribbed cuffs.

The Waratah artwork was designed by the very talented Milica Grahovac. Thank you to the beautiful Xyla for modelling at Merryanbone Merino Stud, Warren.

We’re excited to share the story behind our Limited Edition Waratah Millisa Cardigan, crafted in Australian Merino Wool.

Last year, fashion and graphic designer Milica Grahovac spent a week with our team, creating the original Waratah artwork. This original design concept inspired this limited edition longline cardigan. A wearable artwork in super soft, midweight Australian Merino Wool.

The style is a generous easy fit longline cardigan, fitting sizes 8-20, anchored by elegant neat fitting longline rib cuffs. The Australian Waratah floral motif has vibrant red petals, with deep burgundy tones and a black outline, whilst the main of the cardigan is a deep navy blue.

This style looks flattering on all figures. It looks great worn super relaxed and oversized on a petite frame, and it drapes beautifully to the body flattering a fuller figure.

Thank you to the beautiful Xyla White for modelling at the Merryanbone Merino Stud Woolshed in Warren, NSW.

Here we showcase the creative journey, from sketch to finished knit, brought together by the team here in Haberfield as well as our makers in India who brought the design to life in beautifully soft Australian Merino Wool.

We are excited to have just unpacked our latest delivery of Trovelore brooches. These pins are handcrafted with beads and delicate needlework and are nature inspired. They are designed by two sisters in India who provide work for women. This Turnip pin is a new addition to our selection, a quirky winter root to complete any winter outfit. Congratulations to FDS Tafe NSW on a stunning show at the Museum of Contemporary Art as part of Australian Fashion Week yesterday. I am always honoured to be invited and experience the vision of today's students. I treasured my time as a student at The National Arts School, Darlinghurst. To have had the opportunity to experiment and explore my style without the limits of the commercial world. It was a delight to see some of my teachers, Nicholas and Anne. I will always be grateful for their inspiration, guidance and support.

Congratulations to the 4 students showcased; Luke Rutherford-Durney, Oliver Parry, Tate Boswarva and Zoe Markopoulos making their debut on one of Australia's most prestigious fashion stages.
