A little bit about the story behind Guava Bay 🤍

After more than 20 years working as a hairdresser, I’ve seen just how much care we put into our hair and skin — but also how much the little things we do every day can make a difference.

That’s really where Guava Bay came from.

I wanted to create beautiful silk essentials that aren’t just luxurious, but genuinely become part of your everyday routine. Products that feel special, perform beautifully and are made to last.

Before this trip, I thought I had a pretty good understanding of how our silk products were made.

But seeing the process in person was something else entirely.

Meeting the people behind the products, visiting the workshops and seeing every step up close gave me a whole new appreciation for what goes into each piece.

One word to describe this experience: fascinating ✨

Inside the making of Guava Bay Silk - Day 2 🇨🇳

Today we visited the workshops where our silk pieces are cut, sewn, embroidered and assembled by hand. 🧵🪡

Seeing every step in person really made me realise how much time, care and detail goes into creating each piece before it finally reaches your home 🥹

It honestly gave me a whole new appreciation for the process.
