You may say boring…but I disagree. This outfit formula of a basic long sleeve top, jeans, ballet flats and a jacket/cardigan or blazer and you have endless options.

Change the my colours for yours…warm autumn choose a cream top and olive blazer, bright winter go for a black top and fuscia pink coatagin, light spring wear a light cream and coral jacket, soft summer swap the crop jacket to a moody mauve.

Then think about the styles:
Long sleeve top, short sleeve, singlet, roll neck etc
Jeans: flare, crop, wide leg, skinny, slim, barrel you name it the options are endless
Shoes: ankle boots, loafers, pump high heals, sling backs or ballet flats.

So many options and I have no doubt you have more outfits in your wardrobe than you think!

So which one of these is your favourite? Mine so the teal blazer and the coatagin 💕

Wondering how you can do this too?

Here are my top tips:
1. Test cream vs white in natural light in front of a window. Which one makes you fresh and vibrant, which ones washes you out or makes you look sallow?
2. Bright vs muted, deep vs light test some colours on yourself and look at the differences the colour does to you? Not if you like the colour but how you skin tone, hair, eyes, lip colour etc all respond to it.
3. Does gold or silver suit you best?
4. Do you find black drains the life out of you or looks phenomenal?
5. Which neutral looks better khaki and tan or navy and grey?

All of these will give you an insight into whether you are warm or cool, bright colours suit you best or perhaps deep ones?

It just goes to show you never know what is around the corner.. or what will happen when you follow through on a dream or an idea. No businesses are an overnight success there are generally years of hard work behind them.

8 started this page back in 2014 and can remember watching one of her videos on YouTube and saying to my husband. I would love to share about fashion and makeup and style…little did I know then that I would create not 1 but 2 businesses in that field and help so many women love the colours and clothes they wear.

thank you for all the YouTube videos, the different hair colours (I found you when you had a platinum blonde bob), the makeup tutorials, the empties videos etc. I can honestly say I don’t know if I would have started my insta page without finding you first 💕😘

🌟 These mistakes are normal and totally fixable.

Trying to figure out your colours at home can feel tricky and honestly, most women make the same mistakes.

Here are the top 5:

1️⃣ You can’t see a difference between warm and cool… and you feel like you should.

2️⃣ You test colours that are all from the same palette, no wonder it all looks the same.

3️⃣ You’re scared you’ll get a palette you don’t want, so you avoid testing some colours…

3️⃣ (again!) You take photos at night with no natural light totally hides the truth.

4️⃣ You wear your usual tan or makeup because that’s “just what you do” but it really changes how the colours look.

5️⃣ You think you should DIY it perfectly seeing undertones clearly isn’t easy without the right tools.

The truth? It’s not you. These mistakes are normal and totally fixable.

💡 When you know your exact palette, everything clicks: shopping is easier, your wardrobe feels like you, and your face truly lights up. But most importantly you are able to see with my help which colours actually suit you and which ones don’t and WHY!

Want to know how to avoid these mistakes? I recorded an entire podcast episode on this very topic. Comment ‘28’ and I will send the link straight to you so you can have a listen and learn what not to do when trying to find your colours at home.
