The threads that don’t make it into the bag don’t go to waste either.

Every frazada takes four to six weeks to weave by hand in the Andes. When we cut them to make bags and cushions, there are remnants. This is what we do with them.

A handmade pom-pom tassel, finished with our sun charm and a gold O-ring. Unapologetically colourful. $22.

A junco bag doesn't live in a wardrobe. It gets carried to rooftops and infinity pools and then left on the floor where someone small finds it and decides it's theirs now.

Two years of this. The weave is still tight. The chain is unchanged. The bag has been everywhere.

There's a gift that gets worn the same week it's unwrapped — and every winter after that.

Baby alpaca is the first shearing of the animal. It's finer and softer than standard alpaca, lighter than cashmere, and warmer than it looks. The kind of thing someone picks up, runs their thumb across, and asks: what is this made of?
