Walking through a cool, green forest in the summer heat is refreshing for body and soul 🌿
I’m currently reading Phosphorescence by where she’s discussing the practice of forest baking or shinrin-yoku. Studies have shown, and as all nature lovers already know, immersing in nature has positive effects on one’s health and enhances mental relaxation ‘and increasing feelings of awe, which leads to an increase of gratitude and selflessness.
I can higly recommend Julia’s book, it’s a beautiful stream of consciousness that you can get lost in.
European forests are so soft and gentle compared to the the roughness of the Australian bush. The deep greens have inspired me to include a pine green linen in my European Vacation summer collection ✨
