Sydney based Fashion and Textile designer Eranga Bandaranayake founded ERA, her luxury fashion label in 2010. Originally from Sri Lanka where she was immensely inspired by a rich and vibrant culture, she graduated with a specialisation in Textile/Fashion. Migrating to Australia, she completed her Master in Design from the University of New South Wales with a passion for the art of embroidery and digital technology.

My inspiration for this piece was Mt.Kosciuszko. To make this raised map, I had to first start with a 2D topographic map. I love how the cords I used for couching gave this piece that structure & three dimension at the end.
