More customer quilting from August 2025.

1-4. Custom quilting for one of my students. I am so proud of her progress with patchwork. I loved the backing fabric choice for this one too.
5-6. Custom quilting for a student in a different class . The quilt was designed by .
7-8. All-over quilting for another one of my students.
9-10. All-over quilting for another student of mine. This quilt is so cute with glow in the dark fabrics!
11-16. Custom quilted Batik Turtle. I added a couple of extra photos so you can see part of the process in working out how to quilt it. There are lots of ways I do this but this time I used photo editor on my phone to trial some options. The fabris is so busy that it is hard to see the stitching in the photos. It was easier to see in person.
17-18. All-over quilting for this cute sloth panel.
19-20. All-over quilting for one of our lovely regulars.

I hope you enjoyed looking through the quilts from August. 😊

Some edge-to-edge jobs for customers plus some custom jobs too.

Which one is your favourite?

Can you pick the 2 quilts that were made using my Diamond Harvest pattern? They look like completely different quilts with different fabric and different quilting!

April - May 2025.

At the start of April, my (not so little) man broke his collarbone. So another few weeks of no quilting...the queue increased again and I was behind again. This is what I managed to quilt in that time. Quite a few custom quilts in that time. The first and last quilts were made by the same customer who is also a good friend of mine. She used doilies that were given to her to make the first one and fan blocks that she purchased overseas (I think) for the last one.

After the doilies you can see 4 quilts that were quilted all-over.

Then you will see an amazing quilt that was lovingly and painstakingly made by one of the ladies in my class. She started making this quilt with her teacher and mine, Di Tramontana, right before Di sadly passed away. So she started in my class a couple of years ago with a handful of blocks complete and together we worked out how to make the rest. There was a lot of learning because every block is unique and there were so many new techniques to learn. I custom quilted it and she absolutely loves it! Yay!

Next is a gorgeous country chicken quilt by another of my students. A simple custom job leaving space for colourful hand-quilting later.

And then the 2nd last quilt was also made by one of my students using all of her class sample blocks and my Diamond Harvest pattern. The fabrics she chose at the start of our classes a couple of years ago are so rich and beautiful. I love it and so does she! 😁

I hope you enjoy looking through them.

February-March 2025.

At the end of January my Mum fell and broke her hip! So I spent most of February and March running her shop with the help of Marion and Debbie, while she was recovering. It was a lot of fun, but it meant that I didn't have very much time for quilting. But I did do these quilts in that time. Mostly all-ober designs, but one stunning Japanese quilt that I custome quilted lightly. It was then given back to the maker to have hand-quilting added as well. 🤩

This was one week in November. Lots of small edge-to-edge quilting jobs for various customers. I really love the first one and the 9th one. I think I need to make a quilt with reproduction 30s fabrics too. I always love them. Which one of these quilts is your favourite?

I love quilting for other people and the list of quilts I want to make now is longer than I will ever be able to achieve...🤩😆

If you swipe all the eay through you will also see the dress I made for my girl's formal. 🥲 We took the lace top from a different dress and then made a new black dress to add it to. She looked so beautiful and grown up. I get teary looking at the photos. 🥰

Binding love.

What better way to spend a Monday morning before work, than making binding for a customer's quilt. I love making binding and this binding is particularly pretty.
