Wondering where I’ve been?
A mum, wife, full-time nurse, business owner — and completely burnt out.
If you click through, you’ll see some of the highs and lows I’ve been through over the past few months. I used to always take photos with my finished keepsakes, but this one was the last — back in June. I didn’t touch my sewing machine for two months (I know… not great for business or communication 😅). I’m slowly catching up on emails and enquiries now, and all orders I currently have will be out to you very soon.
I absolutely love being a mum, but week after week of respiratory infections with poor Noah has really taken its toll. It’s impacted my sewing time and left me feeling completely drained.
We’ve also faced challenge after challenge with IVF. I was recently told I have something called a caesarean niche — anyone else heard of it? For now, we’re focusing on our little family of three. 💛
As for Forever Stitches — I still have so many big ideas for this business, and I’m not ready to give up. Running a business while being a mum and working full-time is tough, but I’m hopeful that soon I’ll be able to reduce my hours and dedicate more time to creating your beautiful keepsakes.
