The first drop of this season from DAIWA PIER39 has landed.

The 26AW collection reinterprets “old fishing” from the 1980s, returning to its roots with classic elements (design and details). Various classic materials that were prevalent at the time have been updated with newly developed materials using modern technology.

While offering variations in material texture from light to medium to heavyweight, the collection expresses a new approach by combining high-tech functional materials with classic materials, allowing for layering with different materials.

Continuing from last season, Daiwa is actively introducing environmentally friendly materials and processing methods, such as materials made from recycled fishing nets and artificial protein materials produced by microbial fermentation using plant-derived biomass as raw material.
