Since 2006 Lumi’s head designer, Maryna, has been a prominent figure in the Melbourne Fashion Industry. Running boutiques that housed both independent and local designers along with her own first label, Preap and Coutts.

MELBOURNE // Meet Robyn from Woven by Society - Robyn is a designer with a passion for colour, comfort and style in her clothing. Using her experience as a designer to create unique ranges of clothes which are designed to last a lifetime and become heritage pieces. A slow fashion creator, Robyn rescues fabric offcuts from her Essential Range, carefully piecing together clothes that reflect the unique passions, skills, and favourite patterns of each client.

Each item requires careful planning on placement ensuring that the final garment is not only a piece of wearable art, but that reflects the personality of the client. Even with the off the peg no waste clothes hours of work go into bringing each garment together. Robyn also has Ready to Wear pieces available in her No Waste Range.

Robyn sources her materials and supplies from Australian suppliers when possible, and in 2021 expanded her business to employ local sewists who work on her essentials collection. Robyn herself dedicates her time to designing, creating and consultancy on the No Waste range and custom orders.
