Recording this conversation with Karis Dorrigan made me reflect on my journey from a
young woman travelling the world working across fashion design, buying and production…
to becoming a mum and realising the system I was part of didn’t leave much space for women to have a fulfilling career and embrace motherhood.

Starting That’s My Style was never just about building a business.
It was about creating a way to keep fashion in my life while building a life that worked for my family.
Today my work is less about driving trends and more about people — understanding women, their stories, their vulnerabilities and what helps them feel like themselves again.

Thank you Karis for such a thoughtful conversation. I hope sharing my story contributes, in some small way, to the broader conversation around women juggling motherhood, our career and the invisible load.
