Pallavi chose ivory for her lehenga, with delicate floral embroidery drifting organically across the skirt and a more elaborate gold illusion blouse. Chinese double happiness symbols were woven into the borders of her lehenga and dupatta, while Jou’s deep red sherwani featured a magnificent hand embellished dragon sweeping across the body.
Contemporary rather than literal, both outfits carried elements of their respective cultures, with touches of blue quietly connecting the two. From the lion dance and tea ceremony to music from across Asia, every detail brought their worlds together. A feast for the eyes, and even more so, for the heart.

Tanya’s wedding gown was a dreamscape in organza, with delicate threads drawn through sheer layers to create romantic, three-dimensional florals. Beneath them, a geometric backdrop of sequins and pearls brought structure and subtle light, creating a beautiful tension between softness and form.

Charmi wore our Taanvi concept saree thoughtfully adapted to incorporate the traditional Kandyan look. Layers of pearl embellished delicate tulle lightly skim her hips while the tulle peplum detailed with a pearl border honours Charmi’s Sri Lankan heritage. A meeting of tradition and modernity that felt entirely hers.

Our stunning bride, Naveesha, chose an ivory and gold saree crafted in luminous tones of antique and light gold embellishment that followed around the hem of the ivory saree.
The key feature was a delicate ruffle pleat that added movement and softness. The finishing touch was a fully hand embellished off shoulder blouse to complement the saree.

Our gorgeous bride, Angel, wears a bespoke lehenga with a traditional Māori korowai symbolising protection, prestige, connection, and whakapapa passed across generations.

Bridal wear is the perfect opportunity for garments to create a powerful dialogue or story of cultures, histories, and families.

Angel’s bespoke lehenga features thread, sequin and bead detailing while her traditional korowai is made from finely prepared fibres from the native New Zealand harakeke (flax) plant. The fibres are decorated using feathers from native birds such as kiwi, kererū, kākā or albatross.

Her final look depicts two worlds learning to exist side by side now now moving forward together. The final look is a reflection of heritage carried forward into a shared future.
