Dolly Parton was an absolute fashion icon! I’ll never forget that interview with Barbara Walter’s where she was grilling her on why she wanted to dress like she did. Dolly was smart though, she knew no one else was dressing like that and it brought her attention and helped to get her noticed. Back then a female singer was not going to get as much exposure as a male singer so she made damn sure they would notice her!

She was a legend! R.I.P Dolly 😢
