Excited for my first solo exhibition “Murrook” opening tomorrow night at on Ngunnawal Country.

‘Murrook’, is a self-exploration of being in a state of happiness. Bush dyed fabrics, basketry, and adornments, respond to the coastal land and seascapes of Worimi and Biripi Country, entwined into wearable art. This body of work is the artist experiences of the ‘happy place’ within self and within Country.

PIPPY HOOPS

New hoops with a glittery lilac purple acrylic with painted lilac curves.

Curvy lines represents the journeys tiny periwinkles carve in coastal sands in near by rock surfaces.

They remind me that our journeys have bends, twists and turns, it’s okay to move and go slow at our pace with coastal seasons.
