If you’re new here, hi I’m Steph and I’m painfully introverted 🤝

Which is kind of ironic considering I own a shop where I post myself on the internet and chat to strangers all day about baby carriers, sleep sacks, kids brands and how kids clothing sizing makes no sense! 😂

Also not going to lie we nearly passed out blowing up these balloons just to spend the next 4 business days vacuuming confetti out of the bed BUT it was worth it 😁

This weather has been relentless lately 🌧️🥶

Last week was definitely a quieter one in store, which is understandable when it’s cold, wet and getting out of the house with little ones feels like an Olympic sport 😅

So I just wanted to say a genuine thank you to everyone who still ventured out to shop small. Whether you’re one of my lovely regulars or a first-time visitor, I really appreciate every single person who chose to stop by 💛

2016 ➡️ 2026 🧺💛

Some things change… and some things never do.

In 2016, Mum was helping me tackle the mountain of laundry while I was living out of home for the first time and completely overwhelmed. Fast forward 10 years and now I own Tiny Tot Treasures… and she’s still helping me tackle endless piles of clothes while completely overwhelmed (just in a cute shirt but don’t be fooled, completely unpaid😜).

Today is for the mums who show up without being asked, who keep going when they’re burnt out and who are always there for their loved ones.

Motherhood and mother figures come in so many different forms, and today can hold a lot of different emotions for a lot of people. So today I’m sending love to all mums 💛
To the step mums, foster mums, grandmas, mums-to-be, mums missing their babies, mums to angel babies, those longing to become mums, and every woman out there loving and nurturing others in quiet powerful ways. Happy Mother’s Day 🌼

And to my mum… thanks for still helping me with the laundry 10 years later 🤍

I’ll be closing the shop for the week (May 6-9) while I head to Tasmania with Mitch for his work trip after they kindly offered for me to come along 🥹

Honestly, the timing couldn’t be better. Between Fill A Bag, our first birthday event, Whatnot shows, and a lot happening personally behind the scenes, I can feel myself creeping toward burnout. So when his work offered, I took it as a sign to pause, reset and breathe some fresh Tassie air.

Normal trading still for the remainder of this week and back to normal the week after next 🗓️

Thank you for your understanding and I’m very much looking forward to coming back refreshed and recharged 🤗

I can’t believe it’s been **ONE YEAR**!! 🥹💛

When you start a business, everyone loves to remind you that most don’t make it past the first year… so honestly, I feel like I can retire happy now 😉

To physically watch this shop grow from an empty shell with no power points, no flooring, and not even walls… into what it is today has been so special. And the fact that nearly **8,000 people** have joined us on Instagram in just one year absolutely blows my mind. I’m so proud of how far we’ve come.

A huge thank you as well to everyone who came along and celebrated with us at our first birthday event. It was such a fun day seeing the kids running around (even in the rain), covered in face paint, spinning the prize wheel, and bringing so much joy and energy into the shop. Moments like that are exactly what I dreamed this little space could be.

On a more personal note, I truly can’t thank you all enough. Every time I’ve hit a bump in the road, personally or professionally, you’ve been there. The messages, the well wishes, the advice, the chats… it has all meant more than you know.

I remember someone close to me once advising not to share the hard parts, because when they owned a business the response was usually things like *“suck it up”* or *“welcome to owning a business.”* But when I’ve opened up here, you mums have shown me nothing but kindness, support, and understanding. Instead, I’ve received messages like *“we see you,”* *“it’s just a shop, put yourself first,”* and *“we appreciate you so much.”* That perspective means everything to me.

My hope is to keep this little dream going and continue bringing the Redlands affordable, beautiful baby clothing for years to come.

Here’s to year two… let’s see where this story goes next 🥂💛
