✨ 1️⃣ “Series Complete” Post

This is the 🎀bow that ties everything together.

The Journey Behind Kasch Fashion Designs

Five days.
Five chapters.
One journey stitched with purpose.

From a 7-year-old girl learning beside her mother and grandmother…
To an old black Singer sewing doll clothes…
To late nights creating one-of-a-kind teenage outfits…
To journals filled with sketches and fabric swatches…
To a fully equipped studio today.

Every stage mattered.
Every stitch shaped me.
Every season prepared me.

Kasch Fashion Designs wasn’t built overnight.
It was built over years of passion, practice, growth, and faith in a dream.

And the most beautiful part?

This is still only the beginning.

✨ Thank you for following my journey.

Day 5 – Today

Kasch Fashion Designs Today

From one old black Singer…
to a studio built on vision.

Today, I own three different machines - an embroidery machine, a computerized sewing machine, and an overlocker - each one playing its part in bringing designs to life with precision and excellence.

And I’m not done yet.
There are plans to add another machine for heavier fabrics — because growth never stops.

When I look at my studio now, I don’t just see equipment.
I see evolution.

From doll clothes…
to late-night teenage creations…
to documented design journals…
to a fully equipped workspace.

The journey of those machines mirrors my journey as a designer.

And this is still only the beginning.

Day 4 – Dreams on Paper

When Passion Became Purpose

At some point, I stopped just sewing… and started designing.

I began drawing my ideas from memory — sketching dresses before they ever touched fabric. What once lived only in my imagination now filled the pages of my journals.

Each design was carefully documented.
Sketches. Notes. Fabric swatches. Even photos of the finished outfits.

I wasn’t just creating for occasions anymore.
I was studying shape, structure, detail.

This was the season I learned that great design begins long before the first stitch.

The little girl with the Singer had grown into a young woman with vision — and that vision needed paper before it needed fabric.

✨ Tomorrow, I’ll show you what Kasch Fashion Designs looks like today.

Day 3 – The First Outfit

My Very First Creation

The first full outfit I ever created was a lavender satin dress.

It had puff sleeves, a drop waist, and a two-frill layered skirt - very 80s… and I absolutely adored it.

That dress wasn’t perfect.
But to me, it was everything.

It was the first time I stepped back and thought, “I made this.”
Not just stitched a seam. Not just adjusted a hem.
Created an entire outfit from start to finish.

I can still remember the feeling of wearing it — the pride, the excitement, the quiet confidence that came from knowing it was completely mine.

That lavender dress was more than fabric and thread.

It was the moment I realised this wasn’t just something I enjoyed.
It was something I was meant to do.

✨ Tomorrow, I’ll share how I began documenting my designs - and started thinking like a true designer.

Day 2 – The First Machine!

The Machine That Started It All

My first sewing machine was an old black Singer.

It wasn’t new. It wasn’t modern. But to me, it was everything.

That Singer is where I first learned that fabric could become anything. I started small — making doll clothes, experimenting, practicing, imagining. Even then, I wasn’t just playing… I was creating.

As I grew older, so did my designs.
As a teenager, I had a wardrobe unlike any other - filled with unique, homemade outfits that made every special occasion truly special.

While others were shopping for events, I was sewing through the night, finishing a new design for the next day’s function. I didn’t mind the late hours. I loved the process. I loved watching something in my mind become something I could wear.

That old black Singer stitched more than fabric.
It stitched discipline. Passion. Identity.

And it laid the foundation for everything that would come after.

✨ Tomorrow, I’ll show you the first full outfit I ever made.

Follow along on my journey on "How It All Began!"

Day 1 – The Beginning!

My name is Dale Kaschula, the proud founder of Kasch Fashion Designs.

Long before the brand, the logo, and the home studio — there was a 7-year-old girl sitting beside her mother and grandmother, learning how to sew.

They didn’t just teach me stitches. They taught me patience, creativity, and pride in making something with my own hands.

As a teenager, my wardrobe was unlike anyone else’s — filled with unique, homemade outfits that made every special occasion feel even more special. While others shopped, I created.

That was the beginning of something much bigger than I realised at the time.

✨ Tomorrow, I’ll show you the machine that started it all. . . .

Fashion tells a story … let’s uncover it. ✨

In the 1800s, the hourglass silhouette was everything.

Corsets were pulled tight — sometimes too tight — to create impossibly small waists.
But beauty came at a cost. 👗

Extreme lacing restricted breathing, compressed ribs, and reduced oxygen flow. It’s no wonder women were often described as “delicate” or prone to fainting.

What looked graceful on the outside
was often uncomfortable underneath. 💫

Fashion has always reflected the standards of its time - and thankfully, today we design with both beauty and comfort in mind.

This dress is an absolute burst of joy!

It features a vibrant, eye-catching floral🌺🌸🌷 print in bold pinks, blues and oranges, beautifully paired with a solid hot-pink bodice and puff sleeves for a playful, feminine touch. The silhouette is soft and flattering, with a gently flared skirt that moves gracefully.

The colourful print, structured top, and bright accessories make it a perfect statement piece for a fun, high-energy event like Melbourne Cup Race Day - cheerful, confident and full of personality!
