It's been a rough few weeks around these parts. had a wee accident resulting in surgery, a few days in hospital and a couple of weeks in a cast. Pretty tough for a usually super active 4yr old! So there has been no sewing for me lately while I've been on nurse duty. Thankfully he's on the mend and back to kindy this week so I'm back at the cutting table finally cutting into this lovely fabric that arrived just before all hell broke loose 😂. Big thanks to lovely customers who understood small delays in delivery over this time ❤

My first custom order is heading off to its new home tomorrow, love this red panda print! I have a custom listing on my website for pouches in all sizes if anyone else is interested. And the latest hoodie for . He bravely faced his phobia of the hairdresser on Saturday and finally got a haircut (and some new Lego to celebrate)

Sometimes it's hard work being 4. You're still learning how the world works and how to manage your feelings and it probably feels like everyone is out to get you sometimes. So i thought a little permanent reminder of how loved you are was apt. Kinda looks like the T-rex there is just waiting for a hug 😂. Love my little stash of labels ❤

This is the balmy temperature we got up to this morning so I put a pause on pouch production to cut out some more warm winter clothes for today. He chose this French terry for pjs from my "keeping for myself" stash but he's so bloody cute it's hard to say no. Pop of yellow because it's his fave colour of course. Keeping the 80s alive one 4 year old at a time. Not quite finished in time for kindy pick up but tomorrow is another day.

It's a chilly day here in Toowoomba today so I'm huddled around the heater cutting out more mini pouches today. Meanwhile, Lola is hogging the sunniest spot in the house 😂

I know another post from me in the same week, it must be some kind of a record 😂 A couple of new things for Sunday's market, quilted tablet cases - fits a 10inch tablet and the front pocket makes a handy spot for earphones and charger. Some are quilted outside and some inside. Fun to make so I'm sure there'll be more in the future. See you on Sunday

When your counting abilities appear to diminish with age... I planned to make 20 of these mini pouches to take to market this weekend but somehow only ended up with 19 - doh! Feeling the need to make just one more to make things even 😂. Anyway these 19 and many other lovely little things will be market this Sunday where I'll be sharing a stall with my equally lovely mum

With chillier weather on the way I've been working on Dexter's winter wardrobe the last couple of weeks. I challenged myself to use as many of the bigger scraps in my vast stash before using the new stuff. I mostly succeeded though just had to use that Lego print from and the police print from .

How cute is this little guy? It's been a big week for him, turned 3 on Saturday and now suffering through a bout of HFM and missing out on his birthday trip to the Zoo tomorrow. But at least he can lounge in comfort in his new pjs 😂. This is the sunshine collection in cotton Lycra available on pre order from now until tomorrow night. Those stripes are my fave ❤

It's our 5th wedding anniversary today so I've been working on this little pressie for my husband for the last couple of weeks in between other projects. He's been asking for a simple drawstring bag to keep his headset in for transporting to and from work but of course that was way too boring for me lol so i made him a zippered case for them instead. I made it up as I went, probably would have been easier to use a premade pattern 😂 but I got it done in the nick of time. Complete with a reverse applique initial for that little personal touch lol.
