It was an incredible honour for me to be brought on board by Gensler (the number 1 design company in the world) to bring the Microsoft flagship store to Sydney. My job in coordinating and detailing the glass facade system and giant LED screen above the Westfield entrance will remain a pinnacle moment in my career. My first project over 10 years ago with The Buchan Group. 1.5 years working on the largest shopping centre in WA through to construction. Led by architect Michael Moroney and project managed by Lendlease, this was a great lesson in coordination to start my career as an Architectural Technologist.
