📚🦁 READ TO ME DAY 2026 - WILD ABOUT BOOKS! 🐍📚

Another one bites the dust! 🎶What an absolutely WILD and wonderful day we had for Read to Me Day 2026, celebrating this year’s theme “Wild About Books!” 🐯📖

We were lucky enough to welcome the amazing kids from:

📚 Little Gumboots Early Learning Centre
📚 Tully State School P1
📚 Kennedy State School
& Lower Tully State School
📚 Mourilyan State School
📚 Feluga State School

And WOW... did they bring the theme to life! 🤩 The kids looked absolutely AMAZING in their wild and wonderful costumes. 🐯🦁🦓🦋

We had so much fun sharing our book “Make Me Smile” - and the kids certainly did that! ❤️

There were plenty of silly faces 🤪, silly jokes 🤣, dancing 💃 🕺, lots of laughs, searching for the sneaky snake 🐍, and, of course, making each other smile simply by being together with our friends.

It was one of those days that reminds us just how special books, imagination, friendship and community can be. 📚❤️

A HUGE thank you to all the schools, teachers, educators, Tully & District Chamber of Commerce and, most importantly, all the wonderful kids who came along and made the day so much fun!

You definitely left us with BIG smiles! 😍
