call it whatever you want, new generations will always take a classic and call it something else, but there's nothing quite like a great layered haircut. Often times in hair this long, people will say you can't have layers this short........but you can, you just gotta know how.

Lucky for me, I learned from the best of the best 25 years ago, so now that its time to put those skills to good use.

Whether it's a **g or a I am the woman to see on the Mornington Peninsula for big textured haircuts.

Transitioning from tint on scalp to the perfect blend of highlights and lowlights to create a softer grow out. Still blonde, not transitioning to grey just yet, but removing the harsh grow out line of demarcation that on scalp tint creates.

This way instead of regrowth screaming at you in 4-6 weeks time, you can easily coast through 8-10 weeks before you feel like your colour needs attention.

Rad cuts and colours on REAL people.

Content for hairdressers has become so over curated, only showing perfectly coiffed, runway ready styles with full faces of professionally made up faces, and 9 times ot of 10 you won't see a face over 28 on the main grid.

It buys into the bu****it belief that fun hair is only for the young and those that fit into a very narrow 'beauty standard'

I've never bought into sh*tty stereotypes like that......in my eyes, my most beautiful clients are the mums that are gasping to feel like themselves again, but are so downtrodden from appointment after appointment of hairdressers who play it safe. The moment these women see their hair after a couple of hours in my chair is honestly why im still in the game 25 years later! I can pinpoint the second they see the fun carefree, creative girl that still exists inside them, in their reflection. She's in there, just buried under groceries and careers and housework and making sure everyone in her household has everything they need......everyone, maybe except her 🤍

It's funny how much being listened to for a couple of hours, and a fun new cut and colour can change the way a person stands.
