In just two days, my baby boy turns 4! Time has flown by.
Last night, I found myself reflecting on my birth journey. Despite the inner healing and my journey into self-love and rebuilding, the memories are still a bit raw.
That day, I woke up with a sense that something wasn't right. Motherly instincts are undeniably powerful. Trusting yourself and your body holds immense strength.
Little did I know, my placenta had ruptured, and the situation was about to intensify rapidly, I captured my last bump photos here.
It turned out to be the toughest day of my life.
If you didn't read my birth story back then, it was traumatic and triggering, a stark reminder of the unpredictability of birth plans. After my previous emergency birth, I lost confidence in my body, feeling like I had failed once again. The yearning for that immediate bond with my baby, the sweet skin-to-skin cuddles, and being enveloped in that beautiful bubble intensified.
Yet, my experience took a different turn. My baby and I faced a touch-and-go situation, a life-or-death moment. The severity hit me in a rush upon arrival, unaware of how critical it had become.
This is a narrative I crafted because, if you've endured a traumatic experience, you understand how it lingers. Women often bury the pain, choosing not to talk about it, as the responsibility to care for our little ones takes precedence.
Acknowledging the past, talking about it, and undergoing inner healing are crucial steps in rediscovering yourself as a mother.
I promise, the journey becomes lighter, and you will find yourself again. 🌸💪
Remember, you are stronger than you know, and your resilience is inspiring.
