Looking for a job that smells faintly of mothballs, mystery, and memories?
Our cozy vintage shop is on the hunt for a senior weekend staff member to help out just 3 hours a day, on either Saturday or Sunday. Yes, just one day a week — perfect for someone with a little time and a lot of character!

• Welcoming lovely customers
• Ringing up sales
• Light cleaning & tidying when the shop is quiet (think: feather dusters and fine china)
• Looking neat, charming, and mildly amused by doilies

• Well-presented (we do love a clean collar)
• Reliable and friendly
• Curious about vintage treasures (but it’s fine if you don’t know your bakelite from your elbow — we’ll teach you!)
• Not afraid of dust bunnies or odd questions from curious customers
• Able to resist the urge to dress mannequins in scandalous outfits

The Mid Centurion — Warracknabeal’s premier purveyor of vintage gold (and the occasional mildly cursed doll)— is hunting for a weekend retail hero.

• Saturdays or Sundays
• Greet customers like they’re Royalty
• Sell lava lamps with the passion of a lava evangelist
• Sweep and dust extravagantly and enthusiastically .

You Are:
• Semi-responsible, semi-stylish, semi-familiar with Eftpos
• Not afraid of shoulder pads or ashtrays shaped like swans
• Chill, charming, and can keep a straight face when someone asks if the taxidermy is “ethically sourced”
• Available to work weekends and laugh at our jokes (mandatory)

I love getting online orders! But I hate when I go to get the item from the shelf and find it gone!!!
If you really wanted the sugar jar I would have worked with you for a way for you to pay it off.
Stealing from anyone is poo but for a small business it really hits hard!
I have to message the buyer and explain and they will be disappointed and unlikely to shop from my website again.
Be a nice person and just don’t take stuff that isn’t yours ###
