Edit-🏆congratulations Jack on your grand final win! 🏆

A little change of allegiance… just for the weekend!
We’re through and through Warren Pumas supporters here at Egelabra, but this weekend we’ll be briefly transferring our allegiance to cheer on our very own Jack Kelly, Egelabra Stud Classer, as he runs on for the Dubbo Roos Rugby Club First Grade side in the Grand Final! 🏉
We’ll be cheering loudly from the sidelines and wishing Jack and the Roos all the very best for the big one.
Go Jack! Go Roos! 🦘🏉
…and don’t worry, Warren Pumas — normal service will resume after this weekend!

It’s a privilege to see the Egelabra story recognised in The Land — a story built on generations of people, sheep and a willingness to keep evolving.

While much has changed since 1879, our focus remains the same: breeding sheep that are structurally sound, productive and able to perform in the real world.

We’re proud of where we’ve come from, but even more excited about where we’re going!

These beautiful ewes were classed this week at Gerar, Nyngan by classer Austin Grace — showcasing the consistency and quality that Egelabra blood continues to deliver in commercial flocks.

Owned by David Lowe, and managed by Dave Motley, these ewes are the result of a consistent selection program, with David continually selecting outstanding Egelabra rams to build a productive, high-performing flock.

It’s always rewarding to see where our bloodlines are working — and these ewes are a great example.

Now is the time to start thinking about your ram selections. If you’re looking at where you want to take your flock, talk to Cam, Duncan, Jack or Austin about the type of ram that will best suit your operation.

We have started the count down to Egelabra Sale Day.

🏆 A fantastic result for Warren Central School! 🐑

Congratulations to the students and teachers from our local school on their best result ever in the NSW School Merino Wether Challenge:

🏆 1st – Zone: Best Presented Out of Wool
🏆 1st – Overall (All Zones): Best Presented Out of Wool
🥈 2nd – Zone 4: Fleece Commercial Value

What a fantastic achievement and a great reflection of the time, effort and care the students have put into their sheep.

At Egelabra, we’re proud to support opportunities like this that encourage young people to get involved in agriculture and develop the skills, knowledge and passion to become the future generation of agricultural leaders.

Well done, Warren Central School! 👏🏻🐑
