A warm welcome to all our New Followers, and thank you for being here 😊

I thought I’d share a little about who’s behind Boho Hippy Chic, so you feel confident in who you’re supporting and shopping with.

My name is Caron, and I’m the face behind Boho Hippy Chic.
We’re a Melbourne-based, family-owned Australian business, and we’ve been part of the retail world for over 14 years. For most of that time, my focus was on our physical stores in major shopping centres, which kept me incredibly busy. Although we launched online back in 2017, it wasn’t until recently — in 2025 — that I was able to truly shift my attention and pour my energy into growing our online space.
And I can honestly say… I’m loving every minute of it.

We do still have a retail store located at Woodgrove Shopping Centre in Melton (just 2 doors down from Harris Scarfe) if you ever want to come in and say hi.
We also left our Pacific Werribee store in March this year, but I’d absolutely love to return there if another opportunity comes up in the future.

To everyone who’s new here — thank you. Your support means more than you probably realise. Every order you place is supporting a small Australian business, and I’m so grateful to have you along on this journey.

A little about me — I’ve always leaned towards a boho, free-spirited style, with a touch of chic here and there. I’m a mum of four, and like many women, there were times when spending big on fashion just wasn’t an option. But even if it was, I’ve never really been drawn to designer labels. I’ve always preferred pieces that feel different, comfortable, and true to who I am.
When it came time to name the business all those years ago, it actually came very easily. I was — and still am — a mix of boho, hippie, and chic. I loved wearing all three styles, so the name just felt right.
Back then, “bohemian” wasn’t what it is today. Looking back now, I feel like we were quite early in embracing and sharing that style. I remember even wondering at times, will people love this the way I do?
But deep down I believed in it — and now it’s incredible to see how much it’s grown. In many ways, I think we were a little ahead of what was to come.
My kids would probably say I’ve always had an “alternative” edge — and they wouldn’t be wrong.
I’ve never wanted to dress like everyone else, and I don’t believe you should have to.

That’s the heart of Boho Hippy Chic — creating a space where you can find beautiful, relaxed, easy-to-wear pieces that let you express your own style, without the high price tag.
Because feeling good in what you wear should be effortless… and affordable.

Werribee… that’s a wrap (for now)

Today was our final day trading in our beautiful store. It’s never easy to say goodbye, but if there’s one thing we know—it’s that we’ll be back again soon, just like always.

In the meantime, we’d truly love your continued support of our local family owned business. Our online store is being updated daily with gorgeous new arrivals, and our Online HQ is just 2 minutes from Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre. Our Woodgrove Shopping Centre (Melton) store is OPEN and ready to welcome you. You’ll find us just two doors down from Harris Scarfe. I was in-store on Friday and it meant so much seeing so many familiar faces who have supported Boho for over 14 years—thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

I have some good news and some not-so-good news to share.

The good news is that Woodgrove Melton is Now Open 😀 We were a little delayed but we are so excited to be back in Melton. Boho & Melton go way back. I am still seeing customers we served 14 years ago. We love Melton & Melton ❤️ Us.
This store is a little smaller than we’re used to, but we’re just happy to return to Woodgrove. We worked our magic in it and it's come up beautiful. It is one of those stores that feels nice to be in. It's a good feel store.

The not-so-good news is that our Werribee store which we just love & never want to leave will be closing on 22 March 5pm.
This store was always on a casual lease and unfortunately the space has been signed by another national brand 😞
It was their store first. I was just looking after it for them hoping they would change their mind :(
This store has been a great store for us from the size to the exposure.
We have really been able to show you properly what we are. And you have all loved it.

The positive in all of this is Werribee would like us to stay in the centre, and they are currently trying to find another location for us.
We will also be discussing the possibility of a more permanent lease moving forward.
We are pretty established, we are well known & loved for what we offer so I think it's time we locked something in more permanently.

Just an update 😀
Our New Store at Pacific Werribee is now Open.
We are on a corner situated next door to Chemist Warehouse if your coming from Myer or Target we are opposite Bonds.

Update on Woodgrove Melton.

We’re heading into 2026 with a bang!
Our Woodgrove store will be closing this Saturday and reopening just three weeks later at the other end of the centre 😀

Our Pacific Werribee store will close on January 9th and relocate to the former Connor store, right next door to Chemist Warehouse in Pacific Werribee.
