Cute dog photos alert!! About Me Part 2 | Some would say I’m a little (okay a lot) obsessed with my fur baby. His name is Ed and even though he’s 11 years old I still call him my puppy dog. I got Ed (Aka Mr Ed, Eddy) from the pound when he was 9 months old. They say he is Husky cross Jack Russell - he definitely howls and he can really jump so I agree with that - but a lot of people also think he may have some dingo in him 🤷🏻‍♀️ I plan to get a doggy DNA test at some point because I’d love to find out if it’s true lol. Ed has moved states twice with me, been there for me through ups and downs, loves me unconditionally and never comments when I’ve put on weight or have a bad hair day; I’ve seen him jump out of a second story window to get to chickens (he really loves chickens 🙈), I’ve come home from work to find him standing on top of a car in the drive way waiting for me, I’ve chased him for blocks and blocks when he escaped (huskies are definitely their own boss) and we go for a walk together every day. Having this little man in my life has easily been one of the best things ever!

🌿 Have you seen what else is on our website?
As well as making our 100% soy wax candles I also weave jewellery.
Each bracelet is a labour of love and unique in its own creation.
As an artist, I tend to create in the moment rather than preplan designs,so colour palettes and shapes reflect my mood at the time.
For this particular piece I was inspired by the desert.
Dominated by warm tones representing the sand and the sun with the pops of green representing the sparse tall cacti I could see in my mind.

🌿 TESTING. 123. TESTING. We’ve been putting in the hard yards testing out our new melts which are almost ready to launch.
My favourite thing about melts is definitely being able to use extra ingredients like dried rose petals 🌹 , citrus fruits 🍋 , herbs 🪴 and spices 🌰. They look so beautiful and can add another layer to the scent!
Why don’t we use these beautiful ‘toppings’ in our jar candles? Because it’s highly advised not to put anything additional into a candle which could come into contact with an open flame and therefore become a fire hazard 🔥. Safety first 🤓.
We’ll keep you updated with the progress of these wonderful melts and when they’ll be ready to purchase.
