Did you know that not all cotton is grown white in colour??

This beautiful earthy colour is a heirloom dark cotton, grown in Asia.

On one of my trips to Laos, Keo ( our Textile expert in Laos) introduced me to this naturally grown ancient cotton, and I was a little in love with the texture and variations in colours.

We here at Loom actually call this colour Cinnamon in our range of Linen, as it reminds me of the many different shades of the cinnamon bark.

I wanted to leave this Face Washer plain in design to showcase the beauty of this natural colour. Soft hand-loomed cotton with the texture offering a slight exfoliation, yet gentle and kind to your skin.

We have just introduced a new addition to our much loved 2 Pack of Face Washers.

One of my favourites is the “Retro” inspired Indigo, Marigold & Cinnamon, paired with our classic beautifully plain Indigo Face Washer, highlighting the nature of natural indigo dye.

Gentle on your skin, no nastiest here, with natural dyes sourced from the earth and soft hand-loomed cotton.

Those warm days of summer are not quite here just yet, and there is certainly plenty of chill in the air, so having a Scarf on hand “just in case”is always a good thing.

Beautifully soft, breathable hand-loomed cotton with nature providing us with an abundance of botanicals to produce natural dyes. Our weavers use wild tamarind vine to create this gorgeous colour.

Made the slow traditional way in Laos, designed in Port willunga, South Australia.

I have to say it!! I thought our previous design for our Green On Green Tea Towel was stunning…..but this new design is absolutely divine. The depth of the natural green dyes our weavers have achieved is really quite special.

With the cotton first dyed with rich dark Indigo, then with a second dye process of steeped Marigold Flowers, with varying strengths of dye baths used to achieve different shades of green.

Thank you to our team of Artisan Weavers in Laos who create beautiful items for us made the slow traditional way.

They have arrived!! And they are beautiful.

Our Head Bands are made using fabric remnants from our hand-loomed cotton fabric. Like all of our textiles, the cotton yarn is dyed naturally, sourced from botanicals and the earth.

They are soft and very comfortable to wear.

There has been so much love for our Mocha & Natural Cotton Check Hand Towels, so it was an easy decision to also create a Face Washer and a Tea Towel in this simply beautiful design.

Soft hand-loomed cotton and this earthy natural dye is produced from wild Tamarind Vine.
