Hi guys, you may have noticed I've been a bit quiet over here, and that's because I have had some thinking to do.
I have made the difficult decision to close K&Co.
It’s been a journey, and an absolute honour creating this business from scratch and running it solo for the last 3 years. I’ve met some amazing people and I am so unbelievably grateful to every single one of you for your support, whether it’s through likes, shares, purchases, word of mouth… all of it, I’m so appreciative of your time and love.
Running this business hasn’t been easy and has always felt like an uphill struggle. I always felt like if I just did one more course, invested in one more thing, released one new product, booked one more shoot, ran one more sale, that I would get my big break and things would finally take off.
But unfortunately this wasn’t the case. I’ve learnt so much over the last 3 years but one thing I’ve had to learn is when to call it quits. I've put my heart and soul into every part of this, but it's tough out there, and if I'm being honest? I've lost my spark, and it's really hard to justify the expense and efforts when it doesn't bring me joy anymore.
I feel embarrassed to have been in business for so long and still end up failing, but sometimes that’s just how it goes. It turns out K&Co wasn’t my million-dollar business idea but I’ll be damned if I didn’t give it a go!
I created this business on my own and I’m proud of what I have built, even if things didn’t take off the way I had envisioned; and I’ve learnt so many valuable skills that I will carry forward with me into the next adventure.
Thank you for everything, we wouldn't have got this far without you all and I am forever grateful!
I’ll be closing the website soon, and until then we will be having a 60% off sale to try and shift some stock (I’m sure my family will appreciate having the garage back! 😂)
Thank you again to all of our wonderful customers and supporters, we wouldn’t have got this far without you and I am so appreciative of everything you’ve done for me.
So this is goodbye - for now anyway - but maybe you’ll see me again with a new venture one day!
