Ziba

Ziba Ziba equips multicultural youth with basic business skills and gives them the opportunity to share aspects of their own culture with the wider community.

Ziba is a small social enterprise run by young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The young people have been trained in the art of screen printing by a professional artist. The participants involved in the enterprise are encouraged to develop designs that relate to aspects of their culture. The young people then print these designs on a range of sellable items. The purp

ose of Ziba is to equip young people with basic business skills as well as giving them the opportunity to share aspects of their own culture with the community. All profits will go towards the work of continuing to offer support for these young people. Ziba is supported by the Multicultural Youth Development Project (auspiced by the Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra).

Ziba's next stall will be at the Globe Lane Youth Markets (hosted by Wollongong Youth Centre) at Globe Lane Wollongong on April 16th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. We hope you can come along and support us :-)

Ziagol (Left) and Fatemeh (Right) welcome you to Ziba. The word Ziba means beautiful in Farsi. We hope you enjoy this page which showcases their creative and cultural designs printed on a range of tote bags, t-shirts and tea towels. They'll be holding their next stall at the Foragers Market on March 8 :-) Come along and support an amazing social enterprise!
