New fabric print for our label is rolling out for a short run for NAIDOC Week. If this is what the wrong side looks like we can’t wait to show you the finished products. In the patternmaking and cutting room you might find “Right Side Up” (RSUP) or “Wrong Side Up” (WSUP) on patterns especially on asymmetrical designed garments and particularly on lining or fusing pieces. This tells the fabric cutter which direction to place the pattern on a marker ready for cutting. Fabric from Gari Dari. Artist Cindy Wallace.

Anyone would think I’m doing a flag range for Caressa Designs but it’s actually for all the sporting uniforms we are in the process of making over the next few weeks. I’m not sure if this is a coincidence or if it’s telling me something. I’ll find out in time. I want to take a moment to honour my ancestors and ALL First Nations people across the lands. It’s time to pick myself back up and keep on moving. 👣🖤💛❤️💚💙🤍🖤

You might have noticed I just updated the logo. Still a little basic but will do the job for now until I spend a bit more time and money to get it done right.

I’m also working really hard on a new website just a few more tweaks and it should be ready to launch in the coming days. Also very basic but it will give me something to show for all my hard work and efforts. And I can finally showcase some of my hard work over the years and current projects.
