With the school holidays starting, as a Mama, it is my special time of playing, cooking and watching kiddie tv. I LOVE it. I'll get to the point; my shop will not be open throughout the school holidays. The Shop closed: Saturday 23 Sept and each following Saturday up to and including :Saturday 21 October. I am looking forward to my little break with the kids. I hope the weather stays good for all of us. Rest up. Hope to se you at the shop or the next Fair,

Please ignore my previous post regarding shop hours. Unfortunately we will need to close today 10/6/23 to meet family commitments. We will be back to normal next week.

Due to a significant family commitment, this Saturday - 10/6/23- the shop hours will be reduced by an hour;. The change is in the closing time - which will be,11am. Opening at 9am remains as usual. New shop hours for this Saturday only . My Steamer Trunk open - 9am and closing, 11am. Cheers, Gail.

After our long, hot and steamy Summer, many of you will find, after an inspection of your wardrobe, that you are without clothing suitable for these transitional months. The shop will be open tomorrow, 20May, '23 and will have skirts, knitwear and coats. and scarves and gloves designed for Autumnal not Antarctic weather. If you glance through the Pics on this, My Steamer Trunk page you will get a good look at the sort of warm but vintage style (1930s - early 1990s) clothing and accessories that are in stock. hope to see you tomorrow 20/5/23. between 9:15 an and Noon. There were many folks who visited the shop yesterday; some regular customers of the shop and quite a few visitors who became new customers. I give my thanks and appreciation to both groups of customers who visited, yesterday. The shop (on Bay Tce,), will open again next Saturday, 22/4/23 from, 9:30am-12noon. Chees, Gail.

If you are looking for something to wear in tune with Halloween but don't want what could only be described as a costume. I may be able to help; as I still have a very small selection of skirts, blouses with "Sugar Skulls" etc motifs remaining in stock. What I have left will be available at my shop on 29/10/22. In addition to the “$35 or Less” racks or table for garments, shoes and bags which were popular last Saturday, I will have a small number of individually priced lengths of fabric some are vintage prints and some retro prints along with vintage buttons, some trims and paper patterns. Gail 😊

Might I suggest that you take a look at the pictures or photo section of this page? There you will be able to view the quantity, quality and variety of items I carry as stock. However, the dogs in those pics are my family and NOT for sale. Nor, are any manky looking but much loved soft toys. Haha. Cheers, Gail :)
